Order of Numbers

We will learn the order of numbers in a number line. In numbers and counting up to 10 we will learn to find the before and after numbers up to 10.

Let’s observe the number line to understand the before and after numbers up to 10.

On the number-line –

number 2 is before number 3,

number 4 is after number 3,

number 3 is between number 2 and 4.

Examples on before and after numbers up to 10:

1. Which number comes just before 4?

3 come just before 4.

2. Which number comes right after 6?

7 come right after 6.

3. Which number comes just before 5?

4 come just before 5.

4. Which number comes just before 2?

1 comes just before 2.

5. Which number comes right after 7?

8 come right after 7.

6. Which number comes right before 8?

7 come right before 8.

7. Which number comes right after 3?

4 come right after 3.

8. Which number comes right after 9?

10 come right after 9.
