Solution:


Least common multiple (L.C.M) of 3, 12 and 16 = 3 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 48. 




2. What is the least common multiple (L.C.M) of 12, 30 and 40by using division method?


Solution:



Least common multiple (L.C.M) of 12, 30 and 40 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 = 120.



3. What is the least common multiple (L.C.M) of 20, 30 and 50 by using division method?

Solution:



Least common multiple (L.C.M) of 20, 30 and 50 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 5 × 3= 300.



4. What is the least common multiple (L.C.M) of 18, 24 and 60 by using division method?

Solution:



Least common multiple (L.C.M) of 18, 24 and 60 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 2 × 5 = 360.
