9. Solve the following Word Problems on Area, Perimeter and Volume:

(i) Find the cost of tiling a rectangular park of length 800 m and breadth 450 m at the rate of Rs 2.50 per m².

(ii) Find the area of four walls of a seminar hall having length 18 m, breadth 15 m and height 12 m.

(iii) A cuboidal petrol tank is 3 m long, 2 m broad and 2 m deep. How many litres of petrol can the tank hold? (1 litre = 1000 cm³)

(iv) A wooden plank is 2.4 m long and 1.5 m broad. What is its thickness if its volume is 18 m³?

(v) A classroom is 12 m long, 4 m broad and 7 m high. What is the volume of the classroom?

(vi) The volume of a solid metal box having length 19 cm and height 8 cm is 1824 cm³. Calculate its breadth.

(vii) A boundary wall of 18 m length, 4 m height and ½ m thickness is to be built from bricks of volume 1200 cm³ each. How many bricks are required to build the boundary wall?

(viii) The length and thickness of a book are 25 cm and 4 cm respectively. Find the breadth of the book if the volume of the book is 1500 cm³.

(ix) A rectangle gift box is 15 cm long and 10 cm broad while a square gift box has side of 20 cm. Which of the two has more area and by how much?

(x) The length of a field is 350 m and the breadth is 65 m. Another field has each side of 150 m. Which field has more area and by how much?

(xi) The area of a rectangular park is 988 m². If its length is 38 m, find the breadth.
