Solution:

Answer: There will be 784 balloons in 7 packets.


7. Using the multiplication time’s table of 7, calculate 7 times 9.

Solution:

According to the 7 times tables, 7 times 9 = 7 × 9 = 63

Therefore, 7 times 9 = 63


8. In a flower-vase there are 7 flowers. How many flowers will be 23 such flower-vases?

Solution:

No of flowers in 1 flower-vase = 7

No of flower-vases = 23

Therefore, total no. of flowers in 23 flower-vases = 7 × 23 = 161

Answer: There will be 161 flowers in 23 flower-vases.

9. 38 eggs can be kept in a box. How many eggs can be kept in 7 such boxes?

Solution:

No of eggs in 1 box = 38

No of boxes = 7

Therefore, total no. of eggs in 7 such boxes = 7 × 38 = 266

Answer: There will be 266 eggs in 7 such boxes.
