We know, to find the percent of a number we obtain the given number and then multiply the number by the required percent i.e., x % of a = x100 × a

14. Ron wants to buy a television. The shopkeeper agreed to give Ron Television at a price less than the original price. So Ron Just had to pay $45000 for the television with original price of $50000. What was the percentage of discount given to Ron?
