Worksheet on Even and Odd Numbers

In worksheet on even and odd numbers, all grade students can practice the questions on numbers. This exercise sheet on even and odd numbers can be practiced by the students to get more ideas to find the even or odd number.

The numbers which are divisible by 2 are called even numbers.

Hence, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, ....... etc are even numbers.

The numbers which are not divisible by 2 are called odd numbers. So, odd number is always 1 more than an even number.

Thus, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 ....... etc are odd numbers.

1. Which of the following numbers are even? 3, 4, 9, 15, 24, 34, 39, 45, 48, 315, 416, 7280

2. Which of the following numbers are odd? 5, 18, 365, 466, 972, 981, 1488, 3589

3. Write all the even numbers which are greater than 60 and smaller than 70.

4. Write all the odd numbers lying between 80 and 90.

5. (i) Find the difference between the greatest and smallest 1-digit odd numbers.

(ii) Find the sum of the first five even numbers.


6. See and study the following pattern of first continued odd numbers. The sum of each set of odd numbers is the number of odd numbers multiplied by itself.

7. Write all the even numbers from 1 – 50 in the given grid.

9. Using only once the digits 3, 4, 6, 7 from

(i) 3-digit smallest even number.

(ii) 4-digit smallest even number with 6 at thousands place.

(iii) 2-digit odd number less than 40

(iv) 4-digit largest odd number with 3 at hundreds place.

(v) Smallest even number by using all the 4 digits.

(i) 346

(ii) 6,374

(iii) 37

(iv) 6347

(v) 3476
