Worksheet on Addition in Kilometers and Meters

Practice the questions given in the worksheet on addition in kilometers and meters (with carrying and without carrying).

Arrange the given lengths in two columns of km and m. Now add them separately as we add ordinary numbers. Here the number of meters is written as three digit number.

I. Add the following without carrying (km and m):

(iii) 3 km 200 m + 5 km 379 m

(iv) 4 km 162 m + 3 km 205 m

(viii) 68 km 269 m + 10 km 600 m

 

II. Find the sum with carrying (km and m):

(i) 4 km 690 m + 3 km 225 m

(ii) 3 km 709 m + 2 km 837 m

(iii) 1 km 284 m + 2 km 625 m

(iv) 7 km 358 m + 1 km 729 m

(v) 87 km 550 m + 10 km 763 m

(vi) 75 km 182 m + 20 km 468 m

(vii) 40 km 106 m + 32 km 387 m

(viii) 68 km 260 m + 12 km 602 m
