Multiplication Grid
Learning Table through Multiplication Grid
A multiplication grid (for tables up to 10) looks like this.
Let us find 4 × 8 using the grid. For this,
⚫ look for 4 on the leftmost column and circle it,
⚫ look for 8 in the topmost row and circle it, and
⚫ draw arrows from 4 and 8.
The arrows meet at 32. So, 4 × 8 = 32
Let us study the table and revise the times table 1 to 10.
For example to multiply 5 and 7 move along row 5 to the column 7 you will get 35 as product of the two numbers.
