Math practice test on telling time will help the students to find the time duration in hours and minutes.

1. How much time has passed between:

(a) 11 : 40 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

(b) 9 : 45 p.m. to 2:15 a.m.

(c) 8 : 15 a.m. to 11 : 05 p.m.

2. Fill in the column of 'End Time':

(a) 10:31 p.m.     3h. 20 min. 4h.         1:51 a.m.

(b) 2:15 p.m.       1 h. 30 min.               ________

(c) 7:10 a.m.       50 min.                       ________

3. The basketball team selections begin at 1:00 p.m. They are over at 3:15 p.m. How long do the selections take? 

4. Cricket team selections begin at 9 :15 a.m. They are scheduled to last 4 hours, but they end at 2 : 00 p.m. How much longer did the selection take than they were scheduled to? 

5. The journey to the stadium takes 1 hour. If Shelly has traveled for 35 minutes, how many more minutes will she take to reach?
