Solution:

In this series there are two groups of numbers.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (?) and 12, 10, 8, 6, (?)

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (?); here add 1 to each number.

1 +1 = 2

2 + 1 = 3

3 + 1 = 4

4 + 1 = 5

5 + 1 = 6

12, 10, 8, 6, (?); subtract 2 from each number.

12 – 2 = 10

10 – 2 =8

8 – 2 = 6

6 – 2 = 4


Answer: 5, 4
