Corner and Sides of Plane Figures
We will learn corners and sides of plane
figures.
The lines that form a plane figure are
called sides or edges. Two lines where they meet is called the corner.

This is a square. Square has 4 sides and 4
corners. All the sides of a square are equal.

This is a Rectangle. Rectangle has 4 sides and 4
corners. The opposite sides of a rectangle are equal.

This is a Triangle. Triangle has 3 sides and 3
corners. The sides of a triangle may or may not be equal.

This is a Circle. Circle has no straight side and no corner.
It is a figure drawn with a curved line.
