Worksheet on Addition in Liters and Milliliters

Practice the questions given in the worksheet on addition in liters and milliliters (with carrying and without carrying).

Addition in liters and milliliters is done in a similar way as in the case of numbers. When we add milliliters to milliliters, we get the sum in milliliters. It can be done by (i) without carrying (ii) with carrying.

I. Add the following (without carrying):

(i) 6 l 460 ml + 3 l 400 ml

(ii) 5 l 496 ml + 4 l 103 ml

(iii) 6 l 152 ml + 2 l 446 ml

(iv) 55 l 246 ml + 10 l 412 ml

(v) 62 l 275 ml + 11 l 600 ml

(vi) 98 l 645 ml + 1 l 024 ml

(vii) 321 l 570 ml + 534 l 100 ml

(viii) 467 l 296 ml + 300 l 102 ml

(ix) 745 l 004 ml + 201 l 902 ml

II. Find the sum (with carrying):

(i) 3 l 198 ml + 3 l 405 ml

(ii) 5 l 828 ml + 2 l 646 ml

(iii) 6 l 762 ml + 1 l 195 ml

(iv) 46 l 278 ml + 52 l 256 ml

(v) 92 l 387 ml + 9 l 284 ml

(vi) 75 l 237 ml + 19 l 925 ml

(vii) 847 l 621 ml + 094 l 259 ml

(viii) 184 l 247 ml + 326 l 585 ml

(ix) 266 l 635 ml + 357 l 608 ml
