How to use a number line?

1. Count on a number line and start at 4. Jump to the right by 3. Write the number you land at?

First we will draw a number line. Count on a number line and mark the point 4. Start at 4, then count and jump to the right by 3. The number we land at 7.

3. Count on a number line and start at 2. Jump to the right by 4. Write the number you stop at?

First we will draw a number line. Count on a number line and mark the point 2. Start at 2, then count and jump to the right by 4. The number we stop at 6.

4. Count on a number line and start at 8. Jump to the left by 3. Write the number you stop at?
