9. In a village there are 365 males, 356 females and 212 children. Find the total population of the town.


10. Find the difference:

(i) 804 – 609

(ii) 5205 – 4694

(iii) How much is 1240 greater than 928?

(iv) What number should be subtracted from 4138 to get 3500?

(v) What number should be added to 3254 to get 5000?
