Worksheet on Reflection in Origin

Practice the questions given in the worksheet on reflection in origin. The questions are based on how to find the co-ordinates of the image of a point under reflection in origin.

1. Find the reflection of the following in the origin.

(i) (0, -3)

(ii) (3, 0)

(iii) (0, 0)

(iv) (2, -4)

(v) (-3, -5)

2. Find the co-ordinates of the image of the following points under reflection in the origin:

(i) A (2, -5)

(ii) B (-5/2, -1/2)

(iii) C (0, 0)

3. Write the co-ordinates of the image of the following point when reflected in origin.

(i) P (6, 5)

(ii) Q (6, -5)

(iii) R (-6, 5)

(iv) S (-6, -5)

4. A point P is reflected in the origin. Co-ordinates of its image are (2, -5). Find the co-ordinates of P.

5. Write down the coordinates of the image of the point (3, -2) when reflected in the origin.
