2. Fill in the blanks:

3. In a packet containing 80 watches, 15 watches were found to be defective. Find the ratio of defective to good watches.

4. A rectangular field is 100 m by 80 m.  Find the ratio of:

(i) length to its breadth

(ii) breadth to its perimeter.


5. The monthly salary of a person is $12,000 and his monthly expenditure id $8,500. Find the ratio between his:

(i) salary and expenditure.

(ii) expenditure and savings.

(iii) savings and salary.


6. There are 28 boys and 36 girls in a party. Find the ratio of:

(i) boys to girls

(ii) boys to total number of children

(iii) girls to total number of children
