1. Sachin scored 146 runs in the first innings and 232 runs in the second innings of a test match. What was his total score?

2. Nairitee has two dictionaries, one for English and the other for Hindi. The English dictionary has 456 pages while the Hindi dictionary has 336 pages. How many pages are there in both the dictionaries taken together?

3. A vegetable merchant sold 396 sacks of potatoes and 423 sacks of onions in the month of May. How many sacks of potatoes and onions did he sell in all?

4. An ice cream parlour sold 226 chocolate ice creams and 385 strawberry ice creams. How many ice creams were sold in all?

5. A merchant sold 245 umbrellas in June, 323 umbrellas in July and 199 umbrellas in August. How many umbrellas did he sell in the three months altogether?
