Definition of Even Numbers:

Numbers which are exactly divisible by 2 are even numbers.

For example: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 36, 94, 100, etc. are even numbers.

They are multiples of 2.

Definition of Odd Numbers:

Numbers which are not exactly divisible by 2 are odd numbers.

For example: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 37, 63, 99 etc. are odd numbers. They are not multiples of 2.
