Conversion of Minutes into Seconds

We will discuss here about the conversion of minutes into seconds. We know 1 minute is equal to 60 seconds, which is required to convert the measuring time from minutes to seconds.

Solved examples:

1. Convert 30 minutes into seconds.

We know, 1 minute = 60 seconds

Therefore, 30 minutes = (30 × 60) seconds = 1800 seconds

2. Convert 45 minutes into seconds.

We know, 1 minute = 60 seconds

Therefore, 45 minutes = (45 × 60) seconds = 2700 seconds

3. Convert 45 minutes 35 seconds into seconds.

45 minutes 35 seconds = (45 × 60) seconds + 35 seconds (1 minute = 60 seconds)

= 2700 seconds + 35 seconds

= 2735 seconds

4. Convert 28 minutes 41 seconds into seconds.

28 minutes 41 seconds = (28 × 60) seconds + 41 seconds (1 minute = 60 seconds)

= 1680 seconds + 41 seconds

= 1721 seconds

5. Convert 10 minutes into seconds.

1 minute = 60 seconds

10 minutes = 60 × 10 seconds

                 = 600 seconds

6. Convert 15 minutes 25 seconds into seconds.

1 minute = 60 seconds

15 minutes = 15 × 60 seconds

                 = 900 seconds

15 minutes 25 seconds = 900 seconds + 25 seconds

                                  = 925 seconds
